Kirston Hiller has been dancing for the past 17 years studying all different styles and forms of dance, such as hip-hop, ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, and modern. She performed in many different competitions throughout the years, winning various awards and scholarships. During high school, Kirston was on the MHS dance team where she was captain for two years, sang as part of the all girls show choir “Sweet Inspirations”, and got a taste of  being a dance instructor teaching a couple beginning classes.

After graduating Marion High School in 2004, she decided to start teaching dance more consistently. She has effectively taught all levels of dance from a beginner to advanced, as well as various dance forms, in a variety of settings, to countless students with a wide range of abilities and experiences. Kirston has experience in performing and choreographing pieces for competitions, allowing her to express her creative energy.

Auditioning in 2005 for The Alvin Ailey School of Dance, a well-known modern company based out of New York City, Kirston was accepted into three different programs at the school. She also has auditioned for Hubbard Street in Chicago, IL. Currently she is in her second year of dancing with the Indiana Pacemates, the official dance team of the Indiana Pacers enjoying performing in front of thousands of fans.

Looking to provide a positive and creative learning environment as a dancer and teacher, she is excited in starting her first year at CSA.
