I am a sophomore at Marion High
school. As an apprentice teacher I have studied several types of
dance. I found my passion a few years ago with lyrical and modern
dance. I love lyrical because you can express yourself with movement.
After two knee surgeries I thought I would never be able to dance
again but with the inspiration of the studio and close friends I'm
back doing what I love. I am always willing to take several different
class to become a more well-rounded dancer. I help the Marion High
School cheerleading squad with dance and presence. I teach at Mid
America Gymnastics in the summer helping the gymnasts develop presence
and dance technique. I have received two jazz scholarships from the
JUMP dance convention. I have choreographed a couple dances to take to
competition and have received gold awards in all pieces. I
choreographed the Austin Powers commercial for CSA. I have a very
large passion in all dance forms. I hope to go to college and major in
dance and maybe someday open my own studio. I love to dance and pass
on my passion throughout the studio. |
